Frequently Asked Questions - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Q: Can I send a demo?
Q. What if I send you an MP3 to listen to, or a link to a website?
A. Please do not email us MP3 or other sound files, unless we request them — they clog up our server, and we just delete them anyway. Send us a link to a site like sonicbids.com, purevolume or myspace. If you are on myspace.com add us as a friend, and we will view your information, and media online. www.myspace.com/digitonerecords

Q. How do I go about licensing a release to manufacture and distribute records in territories outside of the U.S.?
A. For information about all of our international business outside the United States, please contact us here.
Q. I was wondering if we could play (insert Digitone release here) or any of the songs readily available from your site on one of our up coming podcasts (do-it-yourself online radio show)?
A. While we're unable to give you blanket permission to use any ole song you want from our catalog, you may incorporate any of the songs that are freely available as MP3s in the multimedia section of this website into your podcasts. HOWEVER, we do reserve the right to change our mind about the availability of any song for any reason at any time.
A. You are hereby granted official permission to use unaltered Digitone owned material from the Digitone web site. Here's the deal: We generally don't mind when people use material from our site. You've already done half the work by trying to find out if it's OK, and from here we only ask that you give credit where credit is due, and mention somewhere near the pictures/text that you got the material from us and that we gave you permission to use it. Shrinking an image is OK, but cutting, cropping, or defacing our stuff will make us unhappy. Bear in mind that some of the material on the Digitone site is not owned by Digitone, and it is your job to figure out who owns stuff and get permission from the various third parties. Music and video's can only be obtained for use through contractual agreements. You may make requests for use by emailing us here.
